Starting tomorrow, Riverside County voters will be able to cast their ballot for the June 2 primary election at one of 21 vote centers.

“Riverside County voters can expect a secure, accessible and transparent voting experience as vote centers begin opening tomorrow,” Elizabeth Florer, public information officer for the Riverside County Registrar of Voters (ROV), said in an email to The Riverside Record. “Vote centers provide voters with flexibility and convenience, allowing them to vote in person, return their vote-by-mail ballot, register to vote, update their voter registration or receive assistance in multiple languages at any location throughout the county.”

A comprehensive list of vote centers and ballot drop-off locations including dates and hours of operation is included in the County Voter Information Guide, which was mailed to all registered voters, and can be found here on the ROV’s website

A map of all vote centers can be accessed here. For voters who wish to turn in their mail-in ballot, a map of drop-off locations can be found here. Secure drop boxes will remain available until 8 p.m. on Election Day.

An additional 131 vote centers will open May 30, including five super vote centers. Florer said the super vote centers — La Sierra Community Center in Riverside, the Outlets at Lake Elsinore in Lake Elsinore, Heritage High School in Menifee, the Palm Desert Community Center in Palm Desert and the Beaumont Civic Center in Beaumont — would operate like traditional vote centers but would offer extended capacity to reduce wait times and accommodate higher voter traffic.

“The introduction of super vote centers reflects the county’s continued commitment to improving voter access, enhancing the voting experience and ensuring all voters have convenient opportunities to safely and securely cast their ballot,” she said.

As of Friday, the ROV has issued approximately 1,462,272 vote-by-mail ballots, including supplemental voter registration and ballot reissues. Approximately 131,806 have been “returned good,” which means the signatures have been verified and they are able to be counted once the polls close on Election Day.
